Mazureks play too

A marvelous time
music fills the afternoon
hearts flutter more now

Attend the concert
Talented kids everywhere
Moonlight sonata

Happy Time Jazz, Now
Sarabande in D Minor
A little song, I Spy

Ah, a concert hour
piano pings in the light
peace and good will too

A treasured moment
put your hands together now
smiles fill the warm air

Hour goes past slowly
sun going down, eyes closing
The night hours coming

The evening is done
The concert has finished too

Harry Dean Stanton "Cancion Mixteca"

And seeing myself so alone and sad Like a leaf in the wind I want to cry I want to die Of grief CLICK HERE to Listen

How far away I am from the Land where I was born, Intense Nostalgia Invades my mind. I am sitting alone and sad like a leaf on the wind, I want to cry I want to die I miss my home so much. Oh land of the sun I am sighing to see you, Now I am far away and live without life without love. I see myself alone and sad like a leaf on the wind I want to cry I want die I feel so much for my home...

The Picnic

The hours go by; well it is the years now
We meet once again, maybe the last time
Smiles and good wishes for each of us

Just over fifteen years have past last we met
We are moving a little slower now, well some of us
A walker in hand for a few and still others walk on

No, I don’t remember, did she finally graduate
Ah, yes, now with the old photo in hand I knew
Her well and others too, a fine bunch for sure

Now we look for good weather, cheap gas and
Just maybe a face or two that we remember from
In the days so long ago now, but forever Wildcats

Yes, the name sticks as do the good times, forget
All else as we are here and moving still, every day
Best wishes to my fellow RHS graduates 65 years ago
